1400+ pregnant people hospitalised with COVID-19 (May-October 2021):

  • 1 in 3 developed pneumonia and needed ventilatory support

  • 1 in 6 admitted to the ICU

  • 1 in 100 died

  • 9/10 were unvaccinated

  • 1 in 5 were born prematurely
  • 1 in 50 resulted in stillbirth
  • 1 in 50 resulted in miscarriage

Over 84,000 pregnant people in the UK have been vaccinated. Vaccines are safe and effective against COVID-19.
